My First Apartment

After several days of cleaning and rearranging furniture, the apartment finally feels like my own! A few points of interest: I sleep on what is similar to the top of a bunk bed. I like this set up though, because I have plenty of room up there. It also maximizes the space I have on the ground. I have a futon for guests to sleep on. Both are double mattresses, so I could actually accommodate 3 guests at a time somewhat comfortably! The shower, you will notice, has no curtain or door. I really like this contemporary concept. The itty-bitty kitchen has an itty-bitty garage type door that can mechanically roll over it to hide it. Looks kind of like a toy very rich people in the movies have, like a wall that flips over and becomes a bar or something! I got a plant because it would be ridiculous for me to get a pet, and I figure a plant is a similar concept! This apartment is exactly what I wanted. I wouldn't want anything bigger, and the location is comparable to Yorkville in Toronto. There are incredible cafes, lounges, pastry shops, chocolatiers, delicatessens and designer boutiques every 5 feet, literally. This place is packed with shops and culture!
